Festival of Flowers 2011
The 2011 Festival of Flowers in Praise was held at St Paul’s Cathedral last weekend (12th - 15th February) and Saint Peter’s was represented.
Parishioners Faye-Noel Brown and Gwen Hudson were again responsible for our entry, which was chosen by the Otago Daily Times as the photographic feature in coverage of the festival. Unusually, this year’s entry incorporates a felted wool sculpture to compliment the floral content. As Gwen says, ’floral art nowdays can include all organic materials.’.
